Concrete tees throughout and disc hire avialable from the cafe or local club based out of the shipping container by hole one.

Course Conditions

If there has been a lot of recent rain you might want to wear wellies / boots as some areas can get water logged.

Please give way to other park users when playing.

Hire Discs

Longford Park café has discs you can hire. You need a £5 deposit and there is a £1 charge (cash only!).  Alternatively you can turn up at our club meets and borrow some discs for free and we’ll show you how to play.  If you’re bring a group we have a group hire set of discs available for out of hours – please contact us via email.

The café is now on it’s winter opening hours. It closes at 4.30pm November and 4pm December – February. Ensure you have enough time to play and get your deposit back!

Purchase Discs

If you have your own discs the course is FREE and OPEN – ALWAYS! We have a limited stock of beginner discs for sale – come to one of our Open Days or find out when we’re on the course at a club meet. Alternatively there are number of great online shops!

Public Transport

You can enter the top end of Longford Park easily via public transport from Manchester City Centre. Take the tram (in the direction of Altrincham) and alight at Old Trafford stop. Walk south-west down Trent Bridge Walk to Great Stone Road, turn left and you’ll arrive at “The Quadrant”. Look for the Beacon Centre / Firswood Community Centre (M32 8QS) – the entrance to the park is to the right.

Alternatively the #15 bus from Piccadilly Gardens goes straight to the Quadrant, Stretford.


Free parking is available within the park right next to the course.

Just head for the entrance just off Ryebank Road (follow the signs for Longford Stadium,postcode M21 9TA).
